Miramar Wins 3rd SSMARt Innovation Award

On Monday Miramar Design Studio Inc. attended SSMIC's SSMARt Innovation Awards 13 and won the Innovation in Web and Social Media of the Year award.
Miramar was pleased when it received the opportunity to overhaul the SSM PUC's (Sault Ste. Marie Public Utilities Company). The goal was to design a website that was extremely sleek and clean. Less was much more in this case. Rather than creating lots of animation and vibrant colours the decision was made to use a minimal approach with subtle fine details revolving the core elements.
Some modules that were created and used in this website included a document archive, job posting system, streetlight outage notification, tree trimming notification as well as a link to the PUC Customer Connect system.
